Spray tans have become very popular these days mainly due to the fact that sprays do not contain harmful UV rays that may cause cancer. The worry of getting cancer has been eliminated with the use of spray tans. Spray tans are very safe to use and are not made from harmful chemicals. Spray tans are made from DHA (dihydroxyacetone) which is just a simple carbohydrate.
DHA has been approved by the FDA (Federal Drug Administration) since 1977 and is a sugar substance that is non-toxic. Along with DHA, moisturizers and bronzers are added into the tanning spray. The bronzers provide the color for the tan until the DHA has enough time to react with the skin. This process then darkens dead skin cells gradually over a period of time.
It is not recommended to shower right after you spray tan because it takes at least eight hours for the spray tan to set into the skin. The DHA chemical reaction is associated with a pretty strong odor which is common. Many of the newer brands of spay tans designed for home use come with added fragrances to help cover up the unpleasant odor from the tanning spray. To avoid tanning streaks or any mistake spray tans should be applied in layers. If a streak were to occur it can be removed very easily with a cloth and water and then you can just reapply the tanning spray over the streak spot.

Banksy’s true identity is debated, some say they have captured him on film and have his true name. Maybe they have, only Banksy would truly know.
